Drive Smart Campaign (The Wireless Foundation's 2016 Drive Smart: No Distractions, No Excuses Teen Digital Short Contest)
The competition challenges students ages 13-18 to create a digital short to persuade their peers to not drive while distracted.  The contest runs from October 15 to December 15, 2015. The grand prize is a $5,000 scholarship, and the teacher/mentor prize of $500. Two runners-up will each win a $1,000 scholarship; their teachers/mentors will each win $250. Three semifinalists will each win a $500 scholarship; their teachers/mentors will each win $100. State winners (up to 2 per state) will be awarded $100 each.

NBC Sports Video Contest - Tell Us a Sports Story
Exciting news from NBC Sports. Video submissions for CPTR’D are currently being accepted. Submit your short-form video features. The submission window is open from November 9, 2015 to January 12, 2016. The Top 5 will be announced on February 4, 2016.  Anything under 10 minutes works, as long as it is sports-related and has been produced within the past two years. Group projects are also encouraged. The best one wins $10,000, the Top 5 finalists will be taken to a SXSW Watch Party in Austin, and any submission has the chance to be showcased on NBCSN.

Sun Valley Film Festival - Future Filmmakers Forum
Sun Valley Film Festival is holding a short film competition for students filmmakers. The Future Filmmakers Forum (FFF) is for students in grades 7th to 12th. Films must be no longer than 10 minutes. The FFF Hot Shot award will be presented for the best national film submitted by a student and will include a $1000 dollar cash prize. Information regarding submission deadlines can be found at:
