YAF Summer Internship Program
FFTF is seeking candidates for our 2009 Young Aspiring Filmmaker (YAF) Summer Internship Program. The Program starts in mid-June and ends in August 2009.
The candidate selected will work with a team of FFTF producers, film advisors and other student volunteers to film and direct the screenplay “Broken Records” for our 2009 Summer Film Project. Once completed, “Broken Records” will be submitted to local and national film festivals. All internships are non-paid. However, the selected candidate will receive non-cash awards that may include local film festival and workshop participation.
The 12-week volunteer internship provides an opportunity for young filmmakers to work with industry professionals and educators to learn all aspects of filmmaking and to refine their skills as a Film Director. At the end of the internship program, the selected candidate will also have a completed film to add to their portfolio and resume.
